In this project, members learn about the selection, care and health needs of cats as pets.
Focus:
- Learn about types and breeds of cats and how to select one
- Learn to care for a cat
- Learn the importance of health
What members can do: (All levels)
- Care for and keep records on a cat
- Visit library and/or veterinarian to learn about cats
- Visit a pet store to see different breeds of cats
- Make or buy a scratching post and carrier
- Visit a cat show and watch judging and talk to cat owners
