4-H Vision Care Project

In this project members develop a better understanding of the human and animal eye; how it works, and how to take care of it.

Focus:

To better understand the human eye--how it works and how to take care of it
To learn how different animals see what they see--and how their eyes differ from and are similar to our eyes
To learn how colors are formed and how we use color
Optical illusions--our vision plays tricks on us--and how they happen
Vision problems--learn the symptoms, causes, and treatments
Learn about good lighting and study areas
Learn basic safety habits to prevent eye accidents
