520 BICYCLE
In the bicycle project, members learn
safety in riding their bicycle. They also learn their roles and
responsibilities on the road.
Focus:
- To learn safety riding habits
- To understand bike driver responsibility
- To become aware of road and traffic
signs
- To understand bicycle care and maintenance
What members can do: (Beginner level)
- Learn about the history of the bike
- Complete a safety information sheet
on your bike
- Learn to use hand signals
- Complete a skill driving course
Materials available: (Beginner level)
What members can do: (Intermediate
level)
- Visit a bike store
- Learn to properly adjust your bike
- Learn to drive in traffic
- Learn about driving alert at night
