4-H Leadership Project
740 LEADERSHIP
Any 4-H member may sign up for a leadership
project. It is very appropriate for club officers, junior leaders,
teen leaders, council officers, and any member who assists with
projects or activities to be signed up in the leadership project.
What members can do: (All levels)
- Learn how to improve leadership skills
which you can use in a variety of 4-H roles. Leadership skills
may be learned through your involvement in an elected or appointed
position, or through your informal involvement in the 4-H club
program
- Learn to understand basic leadership
concepts and how they relate to 4-H leadership roles
- Learn to identify seven leadership
life skills and how they can be strengthened
- Learn how to perform the duties of
each 4H Office within a local club
