4-H Small Engines Project

926 SMALL ENGINES

In this project, members learn the basic principles of two- and four-cylinder engines, how they operate and how to maintain them safely. This project is no longer supported with current literature or specialist support. Members may use exisiting publications or commercial items to support their work in this area.

 

Focus:

 

  • Learn principles, parts, and operation of four-cycle engine
  • Learn to care for and maintain engine
  • Learn to operate engine safely
  • Learn to troubleshoot engine problems
